The original image was square but I made my painting horizontal to emphasize the flatness of the marsh. I like the gradation from a dark foreground to a light background. The image is tranquil and still with just a suggestion of movement in the ripples in the foreground. I posted this painting on my Etsy store here.

I always enjoy other artists paintings of marshes. I live in a area that's home to some of the largest marshes in California. Good work!!!
