It looks like I've been busy painting (I wish), but  these are pieces from last year that I finally posted on my ETSY store.

Pewter Pot Tangerine and Eggplant SOLD

 9 x 12 original oil still life painting of a pewter pot, tangerine and small eggplants against a dark background. Painted while I was taking a workshop with Qiang Huang last spring. I enjoyed the opportunity to try on another artist's methods and colors and see how he did it. The final result was a little bit looser and with more varied color than I usually achieve.

Black Teapot and Eggshells SOLD

6x6 original oil painting of a black ceramic teapot and three brown eggshells.  A tonalist painting done in shades of black and gray except for the warm brown of the three shells and a faint tinge of pink in the interior of the translucent shells.  On my ETSY store
