6 x 6 original oil still life painting of a pewter pitcher and a single
tangerine. The pewter pitcher is a little tarnished and dull and does
not shine brightly but has a beautiful glow. The pitcher is mostly in
shadow and the tangerine is in strong downlight Painted from a still
life I set up in my studio with a small spotlight and pieces of
cardboard to cast shadows in interesting places.
