Sauvie Island Lane with Trees

A view from Sauvie Island near Portland Oregon.  The island is on the flood plain between the Willamette and Columbia and is accessible by a single bridge.  It's rural, but close to the city; it's a favorite spot for u-pick farms.  This one will be in a September show in Winslow Washington at Bainbridge Arts and Crafts Gallery.

Yakima View II

A scene painted from photos I took near Yakima Washington.  The flat valleys are irrigated and intensely farmed and the surrounding hills are dry and bare.  The hillsides turn blue and purple in the bright sunshine.

Sauvie Island is an island in the Columbia River near Portland.   The land is nearly flat and is occupied by fruit and vegetable farms.  It's a favorite blueberry picking spot.

Sauvie Island Farm Road SOLD

Sauvie Island is an island in the Columbia River near Portland Oregon.  There are several u-pick farms and orchards - and a favorite blueberry picking spot.  This is a view of level fields and distant hills that line the river.
