SOLD Pewter Pitcher and Tangerine in the Light

6 x 6 original oil still life painting of a pewter pitcher and a single tangerine. The pewter pitcher is a little tarnished and dull and does not shine brightly but has a beautiful glow. The pitcher is mostly in shadow and the tangerine is in strong downlight Painted from a still life I set up in my studio with a small spotlight and pieces of cardboard to cast shadows in interesting places.  On my ETSY store

Blue Metal Pot and Daffodils

 

8" x 6" original oil still life painting of a favorite blue metal pot and two small pots of multiflora white daffodils.  The daffodils are blooming in my garden now and have been hanging on for a while because of cool weather.  I like the orange cups against the whites and grays.  On my ETSY store
 

Pewter Pot and Tangerine in Shadow

The pewter pot is a little tarnished and dull and does not shine brightly but has a beautiful glow. I enjoy all the reflections and the drama of the limited lighting.
