Sunset Mountain

Sunset Mountain, 10x 10, oil on panel

The view across Puget Sound as seen from the south end of Vashon Island.  Sunset Colors strike the top of the mountain and the lights of  houses twinkle in the shadows. A colorful but low key composition with only a bit of light in the snow at the top of Mt Rainier.  I like how the sky and hills blur together in the dim light.

This painting will be in the 2025 Dockton Art Walk, Saturday and Sunday August 30 & 31 Click here for map and information
