Daffodils in Two Vases

Early spring is often a mix of these colors, gray, yellow, green, and white.  The first of the daffodils are here and of course they need to be painted.  16" x 12"  On my ETSY store

Misty Day and Pushki

Another small  painting of pushki.  These large plants have white umbrella shaped clusters of flowers and are common in Alaska.  This painting will be in a show at Artique Ltd gallery in Anchorage in September.

Kodiak Tidal Creek

A view of a low lying creek near chiniak on Kodiak Island, Alaska. At this point, the creek is tidal and bordered by black sand.  A spruce forest covers the distant hills.  I like the gray colors and misty sky.

Ferry From Southworth SOLD

Sun shines through the clouds and turns the water silver-blue-gray.  This is a view of the north end ferry as it crosses in front of Blake Island on the trip from Southworth to Fauntleroy in Puget Sound.

Oregon Beach

A view from a trip down highway 101 following the Oregon Coast;  high bluffs, sandy beaches, and rocky headlands make for beautiful scenery.  This was probably near Ecola State Park just north of Canon Beach.

Near Chiniak SOLD

View of a tidal creek on the road to Chiniak on Kodiak Island.  A very cool and misty scene with lush green grasses and very gray sand.  This painting is in my show at the Artique Gallery in Anchorage this month (June)
